FEATURED FELLOW: JOHN KEARNEY, IRISH COMMUNITY RAPID RESPONSE
John is the founder of Irish Community Rapid Response (ICRR) a network of first responders providing emergency medical to patients in remote areas. Acting as a ‘mobile intensive care unit,’ ICRR is a network of highly trained volunteer emergency medical personnel who can provide treatment in life threatening circumstances.
In just one year, ICRR’s team has deployed more than100 doctors to assist nearly 500 patients with an estimated 2 lives saved each month. ICRR is on track to triple its fleet of General Practitioners to 300 over the next 3 years and scale the ICRR model to 11 counties around Ireland.
